What is an evidence folder?
It is a space in the Truth-Check app where you group everything that documents a situation: your photo/video certificates, imported documents (PDFs, contracts, emails), images and notes. Everything is arranged on a chronological timeline and can be shared in one link.
Can I share my folder with my lawyer or insurer?
Yes. You generate a read-only share link: the person views the full timeline, with each item's proof level, without creating an account or installing the app. You can revoke the link at any time.
What legal value does a folder have?
A folder adds no legal value on its own: it organizes your proof in a readable, dated way. The items are what matter — hence the Certified, Timestamped and Declared badges, which honestly show what Truth-Check sealed and what you added yourself. Final probative weight is up to the judge.
Does filling a folder use my credits?
No. Creating a folder and adding items does not consume your certification credits. Only creating a photo/video certificate uses a credit. Folders are limited by quotas depending on your plan (the free plan includes one folder).
Are my documents public?
No. A folder's files are private: they are visible only to you, or to the people you send a share link you control. Nothing is indexed or made public automatically.
How do I receive items by email in a folder?
